About me
Hi! I'm Pavlo
My name is Pavlo Polish, I'm based in Turku. My background is in Linux system administration and software development.
I've been setting up and running game servers since 2023, where I've learned to harden systems with firewalls and intrusion prevention, monitoring uptime and performance, updates, and handling day-to-day admin and user support. Alongside that I build automation tools and software.
My goal is to help small businesses, schools, and other organisations that don't have or have outgrown a proper
IT setup: getting the basics running, moving away from software that's expensive or hard to control, and making sure things are documented and backed up so nothing depends on one person's memory.
I run my own homelab infrastructure the same way I'd set it up for a client, my own servers, self-hosted tools, proper backups, documentation etc. So "sustainable systems" isn't just a slogan here.
I usually work around Turku Metropolitan Area and other parts of Southwest Finland, and also remotely as well. But if you're based somewhere else in Finland/Sweden/Estonia, and the job requires to be physically present on-site, we could negotiate about it.
